Yes, we have a large and free parking area. The largest vehicle we accommodated this year was a 10-meter long camper.
Yes. Tell us some days before, and we will offer options. We never serve alcohol and seafood. Tell us if you cannot eat eggs, meat, milk, wheat.
Quite often in the summer, but it depends on the weather conditions.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Wetsuits are not necessary for this activity. I normally wear a t-shirt and shorts. If it is cold for some reason, or rain, I wear wool t-shirt and sometimes even a jacket.
A primitive toilet is available, but we recommend visiting a bathroom before you arrive. This gives us more time to kayak.
About the Kayaks
Yes. Our kayaks are very stable, and none of our guests tipped over last year. We paddle close to shore, both for safety and because there are more interesting things to see along the way. The water is almost always calm, and we cancel and refund tours if the weather conditions are poor. In the unlikely event of tipping over, all guests wear life jackets and will stay afloat, and our guide is a certified lifeguard.
Yes, kids older than 6 will normally enjoy kayaking. For kids 6 years old and up to 10/11-years it’s normally best with a double kayak. Let the kid sit in the front seat. The double kayak works fine, even if the kid stops paddling. I have often kayaked for hours, without any help from the kid in the front, he was just relaxing. Kids older than 10 will often handle one of the single kayaks.
Weight limit: 110 kg (242 lbs).
The kayak can carry much more, but this limit is set for optimal balance and comfort.
Height limit: 205 cm (6 ft 9 in).
We have a Boreal Design Ookpik kayak that is well suited for tall paddlers (195+ cm / 6 ft 5 in). Please let us know in advance so we can reserve it for you.
Yes, you may bring your dog and the price is the same as for a human. However, if you have not kayaked with your dog before, we recommend that you do so on a small lake when the weather and water are at their warmest. Check out the video and read more about a Japanese Spitz that kayaked with us last year. If you are skilled, you might be better with renting kayaks, for flexibility.
We have ten single kayaks and three double kayaks.

Boreal Kasko and Boreal Ookpik
Only if you have kayak certificate and experience, because it’s safer without. We have 2 spray skirts (if available). Most guests will not get wet on the legs/lap. Some get a drops off water on legs/lap.
Yes. We have many vests, from 15 kilos up to 90+. Vest, paddle and map are always included.
Inside your car or in our house. If you need to bring something important in the kayak, you are welcome to do that – or the guide can bring it.
