Olden is a pretty little village situated at the mouth of the Oldeelva River. It sits at the end of the 66-mile Nordfjord and is home to 500 inhabitants. It’s nestled in a truly stunning location. Loen Sky Lift

The Leon Sky Lift is a cable car and is located 6 kilometres from Olden. The lift takes you 1,011 metres into the air to the summit of Mount Hoven. Built in 2017, the cable car provides breathtaking views from the peak of Hoven, above the Nordfjord. With a gradient of 60 degrees, it is renowned for being one of the steepest cable lifts in the world. Activities on this mountain range vary from trekking to braving the heights! You can zipline across the gorges, tiptoe across the wooden swing bridge or scale the mountain itself! Briksdalsbreen is an arm of the great Jostedalsbreen Glacier, and located inside the Jostedalsbreen National Park. The Jostedal glacier is the largest in contintental Europe and the Briksdal glacier is stunning branch of this awesome natural phenomenon. From the top, the glacier plunges 1,200 metres down into the beautiful Briksdalen Valley. The best views are seen on foot or by taking one of the “Trollcars” up to the glacier. It’s one of the most popular things to do in Olden and located 25 kilometres from Olden Port.
